Solomon Systech’s Full-screen AMOLED Touch Controller IC Witnessing Strong Growth

New Flexible/Foldable AMOLED Touch Controller IC to debut by end 2018

(Hong Kong – 8 Aug, 2018) Solomon Systech Limited (“Solomon Systech”), a leading provider of display and touch ICs and system solutions, is pleased to announce that its advanced AMOLED touch controller ICs, which have successfully garnered design-wins and design-in projects with panel manufacturers in Taiwan, Japan and PRC for top global handset brands, are expecting strong growth this year.

 

Market research1 reported that the total AMOLED sales were US$27.1 billion in 2017, up 62.3% year-on-year, and will grow to US$80.5 billion in 2022 (CAGR of 22%); while flexible AMOLED shipments which increased 2.1 times to 140 million units in 2017 will reach 230 million units by 2018.
