Solomon Systech Won the 2005 Grand Winner – Best of Hong Kong of the 19th Annual International ARC Awards

(Hong Kong, 9 September 2005) Solomon Systech (International) Limited (“Solomon Systech” or “the Group”, SEHK: 2878) is pleased to announce that its 2004 Annual Report has won the 2005 Grand Winner – Best of Hong Kong of the 19th Annual International ARC Awards. The gala awards ceremony is considered the Academy Awards of Annual Reports, which was announced on 8 September 2005 at New York City.

 

Established by MerComm, Inc. in 1987, the International ARC Awards were created to honor overall excellence in annual reports in terms of its creativity, clarity, effectiveness and excellence. Celebrating its nineteenth year, the event is now the largest international Annual Reports Competition. The competition is open to corporations, small companies, government agencies, non-profit organizations, and associations, as well as agencies and individuals involved in producing annual reports.

This year, nearly 1,900 entries in 12 major categories were submitted from 25 countries. Only 7% of entries were classified as Golds. These Gold Award annual reports were then passed on to the final round of judging. 36 Grand Awards were presented to the individuals whose work demonstrated the highest degree of achievement in annual reports.
