Solomon Systech Showcases Total Solutions for Smart Displays at Touchscreen Exhibition
(Hong Kong – 18 Nov, 2013) Solomon Systech Limited (“Solomon Systech”), a leading semiconductor company specializing in the design, development and sales of proprietary display ICs and system solutions, will be exhibiting at the China (Shenzhen) International Touchscreen Exhibition (www.quanchu.com.cn) to be held at Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, 25-27 November, 2013.
Date: 25-27 November 2013
Venue: Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center (Fuhua Third Road, Futian District, Shenzhen)
Solomon Systech’s Booth：Hall 8, 8A022
Solomon Systech will be showcasing at its booth (Exhibition Hall#8 No.8A022) its latest portfolio of total solutions targeting high-growth touchscreen applications like smartphones, tablets and other smart touch devices. These total solutions, characterized by cost-effectiveness, high integration and noise immunity capability, support the latest touch sensor technologies and are the ideal solutions for high resolution, high speed and low power smart displays.
These total solutions include:
- “Single chip” projected capacitive touch panel controllers which support a wide range of panels from 2.8″ to 13.6″, enable fast and easily configurable tuning with adjustable frame rate and sensitivity level, and are embedded with effective noise guard functions against display noise, RF noise, power noise and raindrop;
- MIPI display interface controllers which can convert 24bit RGB into 4-lane MIPI-DSI to drive extremely high resolution display modules of up to WQXGA (2560 x 1600), and also transmit up to 1.0Gbps/lane for up to 8 lanes – the world’s lowest power consumption MIPI 8-lane transmitters;
- TFT LCD drivers supporting high-definition Metal Oxide panel technology. These solutions can reduce power consumption and thus increase call and standby time of a smartphone by an average of 10%, support a wide range of resolutions and panels; enable modules with narrow bezel design (~0.99mm) to maximize the screen display area given its compact design together with the high electronic mobility feature of metal oxide panels, and also display vivid images comparable to AMOLED and LTPS.
