Solomon Systech Showcases its Lineup of Cost-effective IC Solutions for Smart Mobile Devices at SID 2015

(Hong Kong – 21 May, 2015) Solomon Systech Limited (“Solomon Systech”) will be displaying its comprehensive lineup of the latest IC solutions tailored for high-growth smart mobile devices, in particular Wearables, Touch and Electronic Shelf Label (ESL) applications at The Society for Information Display (SID)’s Display Week to be held at San Jose Convention Centre, US, from 2-4 June, 2015.

Solomon Systech will be showcasing at the SID booth (No. 917) its latest IC solutions, of which highlights include:

  • Full In-Cell Touch Panel Controller IC
Our full In-Cell Touch Panel Controller IC is a game-changing innovation. It is a touch master controller, a sensor hub, as well as a general microcontroller, etc. Embedded with a customized display driver IC, our full In-Cell touch panel controller IC functions as a standalone MCU to collect all touch-related data for signal processing. It supports LCM solutions of different resolutions, including FWVGA, HD, FHD, etc., and features extra low consumption during sleep mode, making it a perfect solution for low power wakeup gesture application.
  • OLED Lighting Driver Controller IC
As a market leader of OLED display driver IC, Solomon Systech offers a wide range of PMOLED and AMOLED driver controller ICs for wearables and multiple other smart devices. OLED lighting is believed to be the next generation lighting technology. We have launched the world’s first single-chip OLED lighting driver controller IC which supports up to 255 OLED lighting panels simultaneously and also smooth dimming control, enabling the ultra-slim and energy-efficient features of OLED lighting applications.
  • High-Definition TFT LCD Driver Controller IC for Metal Oxide Displays
Solomon Systech offers single-chip High-Definition TFT LCD driver controller IC for Metal Oxide displays to help reducing production costs of high resolution display panels and also the average display power consumption by as much as 25% to extend battery operation time. It also supports a wide range of resolutions (up to 350ppi) and panel sizes, enables display of vivid images and narrow bezel design to maximize screen display area.

In addition to the above, Solomon Systech will also display its array of PMOLED Driver Controller ICs for super high brightness character display panels suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications; AMEPD Driver Controller ICs for ESL displays, and MIPI High Speed Transmitters for up to WQXGA display panels featuring Panel Self Refresh, Image Rotation and Scaler functions, etc.

As a premier provider of display and touch IC solutions supporting various human interface technologies, apart from displaying its latest IC solutions, Solomon Systech’s Kenneth Ng will be presenting on “New Technologies Enabling Ubiquitous Displays” at the Exhibitors’ Forum (4 June / 9:45am).
