Solomon Systech Expands Presence in Japan and China

(Hong Kong – 28 October, 2015)  Solomon Systech Limited (“Solomon Systech”/ the “Company”), a leading semiconductor company providing display IC products and system solutions, is pleased to announce that it has expanded its subsidiary in Japan with the addition of a Technology Centre, and turned it into Japan Business and Technology Center (“Japan BTC”). In addition, the Company is also enhancing its presence in China with the establishment of a new office in Nanjing, China.

 

The Japan BTC has full-fledged capability from business development and marketing to IC design, research and product development for display drivers. The Japan BTC facilitates the Company to utilize the local technical expertise and well-established customer relationships to develop more new products for the growing LCD market to drive business growth.

 

Apart from the Japan office, the Company will be establishing a new office in Nanjing, China. The Nanjing office will have marketing functions as well as product engineering and application support for customers. The Nanjing office, located in close proximity to the 8.5th generation factory under China Electronics Corporation, a major customer of the Company, aims in particular to capture the business opportunities arising from the Company’s engagement as a qualified IC product supplier of the factory.

 

With the establishment of Japan BTC and the new Nanjing office, Solomon Systech will have a total of 4 Business and Technology Centers in the region, i.e. in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Singapore and Japan. The Company also has direct offices across key cities in China as well as in other major countries, in addition to a worldwide network of distributors and business representatives.
