Premier Wen Jiabao Visited Solomon Systech Limited

Glad to see the high technology in Solomon Systech

  Hong Kong, China – 9 July, 2003 – the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, Premier Wen Jiabao visited Solomon Systech Limited on 1st July, the day of the sixth anniversary of Hong Kong’s return to China.  Premier Wen toured Solomon Systech’s new headquarters in Hong Kong Science Park and had an overview of the company’s technology and capability in IC design and development.  During the visit, he signed and dated for Solomon Systech for this memorable event.  He also accepted a souvenir with an 8” wafer from Solomon Systech, which represented the company’s technological achievement in semiconductors, as well as the fast growing hi-tech industry in Hong Kong.

Visiting Solomon Systech was the last stop of Premier Wen’s three-day visit to Hong Kong.  Mr. Humphrey Leung, the President and Managing Director of Solomon Systech led the visit.  Mr. Leung introduced the complete IC design and development process in Solomon Systech, and reported the overall business growth of the company.  Premier Wen showed his in-depth knowledge in high technology and his interest in particular to the IC design process.  It happened that 1st July was also the forth anniversary of Solomon Systech establishment. Premier Wen was very glad to see Solomon Systech, as a Hong Kong company, to have such a rapid growth and become a world known brand name within only four years of business.

Lastly, Premier Wen signed and dated for Solomon Systech as an encouragement to the company.  He also accepted an 8” wafer souvenir that represented Solomon Systech’s long-term commitment to the hi-tech industry.
