Mr. Raymond, Wah-Chi Wang, CEO and Executive Director of Solomon Systech Named EE Awards Asia’s “Executive of the Year”
Led Team to Remarkable Achievements by Leveraging on Innovation and Advancement
Hong Kong, 23 November 2021 – ASPENCORE, the publisher of EE Times and EDN Taiwan and Asia, hosted a grand ceremony to celebrate the first EE Awards Asia. Mr. Raymond, Wah-Chi Wang, the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Solomon Systech Limited (“SSL”, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Solomon Systech (International) Limited) (HKEX stock code: 2878)) was honored with the “Executive of the Year” award in recognition of his outstanding leadership skills and significant contribution to the semiconductor/electronics industry. Mr. Wang led his team to develop innovative products that have been widely adopted by the engineering community in addition to accomplishing remarkable achievements in the industry. He is an exemplary role model for management throughout the industry.
“EE Awards Asia” is organized by the Asia Pacific team of “EE Times” and “EDN”. The first “EE Awards Asia” was hosted in Taiwan in 2021, signifying Taiwan’s pivotal role in the global electronic industry. The awards commend outstanding innovative achievements and professionals within the global electronic industry. There are four major EE Asia Awards categories: Company Award, Product Award, Startup Award, and Analyst’s Award, and 27 sub-categories for both Taiwan and Asia. The “Executive of the Year” and “Outstanding EE Person” are two of the most outstanding awards for the Analyst’s Award category. A judging panel composed of experts from ASPENCORE, the publishers of “EE Times” and “EDN” chose the winners for the awards. The award recognizes leaders of semiconductor/ electronics companies with outstanding achievements and excellent management capabilities as well as professionals who demonstrate excellence in technological innovation or career development. The winners serve as benchmarks for the electronic engineering community.
