Hong Kong

1. System Design Engineer   (Ref: Design/SDE/CO)

job responsibilities

• Perform system level design, Verilog  / VHDL coding, logic simulation, test pattern generation
• Perform hardware / FPGA verification and silicon evaluation
• Develop embedded firmware and design of Demo Kit
• Prepare technical documents and write test reports

job requirements

• Ph.D / M.Ph / M.Sc / B.Sc in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent
• 2 years experience in HDL coding and FPGA development
• 2 years experience in one or more of the following areas:

1. LCD / OLED and other emerging display systems
2. Mobile phones / PDAs,
3. Capacitive / Resistive Touch panels,
4. LED lighting
5. Consumer electronics with multimedia or wireless

• Experience in Quartus II and Nios II system development is an advantage
• Knowledge in C/C++ programming, coding in Assemble and firmware development is a plus
• Candidates with substantial relevant working experience will be considered as Senior Engineer in leadership roles, including equivalent university research experience

2. Digital Design Engineer   (Ref: Design/DDE/CO)

job responsibilities

• Perform digital design, schematic entry, RTL coding, digital simulation, logic synthesis, mixed-signals integration and silicon evaluation
• Layout supervision and design documentation

job requirements

• Ph.D / M.Ph / M.Sc / B.Sc in Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent
• At least 2 years of IC design experience and familiarities / knowledge in some areas of display systems, audio/video, MPEG, MP3, GPS, Bluetooth, wireless, and network
• Candidates with substantial relevant working experience will be considered as Senior Engineer in leadership roles, including equivalent university research experience

3. Analog Design Engineer   (Ref: Design/ADE/CO)

• Perform analog circuit design, schematic entry, circuit simulation, mixed-signals integration, silicon evaluation, device and process developmental support
• Layout supervision and design documentation

job requirements

• Ph.D /M.Ph / M.Sc / B.Sc in Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent
• At least 2 years of IC design experience and familiarities / knowledge in some areas of display drivers, audio/video circuits, current and voltage references, amplifiers, oscillators, temperature compensation, low power and low voltage circuit techniques, data converters, power management, wireless, or network
• Candidates with substantial relevant working experience will be considered as Senior Engineer in leadership roles, including equivalent university research experience

4. IC Physical Design Engineer   (Ref: Design/PDE/CO)

job responsibilities

• Perform full and semi-custom IC layout construction using various IC layout and verification tools
• Write necessary programs or scripts to enhance work efficiency
• Perform and coordinate IC benchmarking activities
• Write verification rule files according to wafer foundry requirements

job requirements

• Higher Diploma /  BSc in Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in Unix workstation environment and computer languages such as Unix Shell, C or TCL/TK
• Experience in use of Cadence, Mentor Graphics, CIDC / HES or other EDA vendor backend tools is an advantage
• Understanding in basic CMOS structures and wafer processes is an advantage
• Can communicate in both Mandarin and English
• Candidates attended Customer IC Layout Design course by Information Technology Training and Development Centre of Vocational Training Council is an advantage
• Candidate with more solid experience will be considered as Senior Physical Design Engineer
