Dual LVDS Inputs/ Dual RSDS Outputs TCON for Monitor

The SSD2900 is a TFT LCD timing controller that integrated dual LVDS (Low-Voltage Differential Signaling) receivers and RSDS (Reduced Swing Differential Signaling) transmitter, to support SXGA (1280 x 1024) and UXGA (1600 x 1200) resolutions. The SSD2900 supports 18/24 bit-per-pixel LVDS input and transmits 18/24 bit-per-pixel RSDS data. The LVDS and RSDS are low voltage swing interfaces for low EMI solution.

The SSD2900 is available in a LQFP package.

Support SXGA (1280 x 1024) and UXGA (1600 x 1200) TFT-LCD panels
On-chip Dual port LVDS receiver which supports 6/8-bit LVDS input
On-chip Dual port RSDS transmitter which supports 6/8-bit RSDS outputs
On-chip Timing Controller operates in DE-only mode which provides timing control signals for source/gate drivers
LVDS bandwidth: 25 - 85 MHz (for one channel LVDS), output RSDS clock up to 85MHz
Virtual 8-bit color depth in FRC mode
Tolerates Spread Spectrum interface (of LVDS) at input for reducing EMI
On-chip Spread Spectrum Control (SSC) which supports Spread Spectrum at the RSDS outputs, centre Spread is +/- 0.25% of nominal frequency at 2kHz
Low Power : 3.0 to 3.6V core operation
