240RGB x 320 262K LTPS Ramless TFT Source Driver
with integrated controller
 

SSD2006 is an all in one display driver that integrated the power circuits, source driver with MUX select and gate control signal into a single chip. SSD2006 can drive a 262K color Low Temperature Polysilicon (LTPS) Thin Film Transistor LCD panel with 240 RGB (3 to 1 MUX) sources X 320 gates (Gate control signal). 

SSD2006 embeds a high efficient DC-DC Converter and a Voltage Regulator to generate all necessary voltage level to the LTPS panel with minimum external components required. The SSD2006 provide a 8-color power saving mode to reduce the energy consumption in portable devices.

It supports 18-bit / 16bit RGB parallel interface and 6-bit RGB serial interface. Control register can be commanded by the SPI interface. The sources and gate scan direction can be controlled by software command.

A Built-in test pattern is embedded in SSD2006 for evaluation of panel without RGB interface control signal.
