SSD1876
is a member of MLA (Multi-Line Addressing) column driver
family. SSD1876 has equipped with 480 five-level segment
driving outputs. It can be used together with MLA row
drivers and MLA
power chip
(*)
to
form LCD display systems with high speed and good contrast
display quality. The power consumption of an MLA
display system is lower than that of a display system
using conventional driving method. Besides, the high pin counts
and fine pitch is most suitable for high resolution LCD
pane.
SSD1876 has
built in display RAM which enables the drivers to store
display data and to generate LCD driving signals. The
display data transmission from the controller can be
suspended when there is no change in the display (Halt
Write Function), thereby enabling a low power display
system.
