hazardous substances in new electrical and electronic
equipment. It bans the use of six different materials
(lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium and two
flame retardants, namely polybrominated biphenyls (PBB)
and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE)) in all new
products introduced to the market after 1 July 2006.
The Group guarantees all its products produced from 1
October 2005 onwards to meet the requirement, well
ahead of EU's schedule.
All

has imposed procedures to include RoHS requirements in material change
control & audits, and requests suppliers to
provide regular re-test reports.
As
a long-term commitment, Solomon Systech shall continue
its effort in participating and promoting the Green
movement in the industry.
